Katy accepted Christ at the age of 11 and was baptized in the presence of many friends and family on December 28th, 2008 at Monterey Baptist Church.
Katy graduated from Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Katy proudly served as a waitress for many years through college and beyond, and her infectious, outgoing personality left a memorable experience for all those she served.
Katy cared deeply for family and friends. She had a unique ability to make you feel special and connect with you on a personal level.
Katy was a dedicated athlete and artist, she expressed that through many mediums including art, photography, music, pole vaulting, cross country track, hiking, and travel.
Katy is survived by her parents Ted and Brenda, her brothers Tanner and Calder, her sister Tawni, her nephews Chris and Hunter (who lovingly called her Aunt Koko), her future brother-in-law Dustin Baker, her grandmothers JoAnne Crill and Delroy Gray, extended family, her beloved dog Natty, and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kenneth Haggard, Wayne Gray, and Dick Crill.
The family suggest that in Lieu of Flowers, monetary gifts can be made to Westmont Christian Church.
