Kent Clark

Graveside services for the Kent Randolph Clark age 84 of Lubbock will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday March 5, 2026, at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Lake Ridge Chapel, Pastor Bary Moynihan officiating. Kent passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1941, in Lubbock, Tx to Doyce and Leslie Gene Clark. Kent married Frances Spicer on September 17,1963. They instantly became a family of five, adding Tancy, Richard, and Vic. Kent and Frances were married for forty-five wonderful years until her passing in 2009. Kent was a dedicated employee for Sears for 41 years, retiring in 2003. He was one of the founding members of the Nifty Fifty Car Club. He volunteered at Lubbock Meals on Wheels in years past. Those who knew Kent were aware of his passion for cars and racing. On March 21, 2011, Kent married Lanita McAfee adding a bonus daughter Mendy Warwick. He is preceded in death by his parents. Kent is survived by his wife Lanita of 14 years and his very loved dog Cody, Sister Sheri Gray of Lubbock a Brother Carl Clark of Austin and his dedicated loving friends Wendell and Vickie Holder.
