Le Roy Boling III, aged 78, passed away on August 8, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Le Roy was Born on November 24, 1945, in Jayton, Texas. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 8:00 A.M. at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is to follow Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in Resthavens Funeral Home Abbey Chapel with pastors Harold Abney and Danny Henderson Officiating.
Le Roy was a respected and skilled custom cabinet maker who spent many years perfecting his craft at Boling's Cabinet Shop. A dedicated alumnus of Texas Tech University, LeRoy's education began at Monterey High School, reflecting his deep roots in the local community. His professional life was marked by a meticulous dedication to cabinet making, where he combined technical skill with artistic vision to produce work that was both functional and beautiful.
Le Roy married Lou Ann, the love of his life, in 1995 and together they had 2 kids. His family and friends knew him as a devoted husband and father, whose commitment to his family was unwavering. He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church, where he participated actively in the community. Le Roy's faith was an important aspect of his life, providing him with strength and comfort.
Le Roy is preceded in death by his parents Le Roy J.r. Boling and Anna May Boling and his son Lance Boling, and his twin grandsons Tate and Tyler Buckner
Le Roy is survived by his loving wife, Lou Ann Boling, Daughter; Tiffany (Kevin) Burrell, Step-son Todd (Tyneal) Buckner, Sisters; Patricia (Rick) Mowery and Barbara Riggs,4 grandchildren; Braxton Buckner, Kanon Buckner, Hunter Burrell, Austin Burrell, and a community of friends and colleagues who will remember his gentle spirit and skilled hands. His legacy will live on in the many homes graced with his craftsmanship.
