Leonor Rocha

Mass of Christian Burial for Leonor Rocha, 87, of Lubbock will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Joseph Thanavelil serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

A Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven.

Leonor passed from this life Thursday, August 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 11, 1930 in Sanderson, Texas to the late Manuel and Josefina (Sifuentes) Gonzalez. She married Mauro Rocha on October 6, 1953 in Lubbock, he preceded her in death on March 24, 2009, and she was also preceded in death by sons, Arturo Rene (Ronnie) Rocha, Joe Rocha; granddaughters Micaela and Josephina Rocha and grandson Joshua Timmons.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Mauro Rocha and wife, Julia, of Lubbock, Homer Rocha and wife, Laurie of Cedar Park; daughters Mary Rocha of Fallbrook, California, Ida Mitchell and husband, James of Lubbock, Molly Thompson and husband, Chris of Plainview; sister Martha Dougherty of El Paso; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
