Linda Marie Pierson

Linda Marie Pierson, 62, of Lubbock died Saturday October 4, 2014 in Lubbock. She was born October 21, 1951 in Crosby County to Lee Carl and Ethel Mae Pierson. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents ;step-mother Jewel; sister Mary Jane Martin; brothers Henning Albin, Carl Edward, and Billy Ray Pierson.

Linda is survived by her daughter Sherry and her husband Edward Polite, her son Thomas and his three children, Joseph, Alexis and Alyssa; brothers Joe Pierson and his wife Gwyn of Lubbock, Jessie and his wife Faye and Jackie all of Graham, TX; and sister Nina Mae of Riverbank, CA; and half-sister Cathy Chester of Comfort, TX; step sisters Marie Courington of Irondale, AL, Janice Holt of San Antonio, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a hard worker from a very young age. She worked at Red Lobster for 30 years as a cook/chef.

She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her dedication to her family, friends and work ethic. She will be deeply missed but we know she is resting peacefully now with the Lord and her loved ones.
