Lucille D. Jimenez

Lucille Jimenez, 78 of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2013. Mrs. Jimenez worked at Texas Tech for 27 years and retired from University Medical Center after 12 years of service. “She was a loving Mother and a outgoing grandmother and she will be missed and loved by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by Margarito and Josefina Duran of Lubbock TX., sister Adelina Duran Flores of Muleshoe TX., brother Adelino Duran of Lubbock and nephew Jesse Duran of Sweetwater TX. And nephew Gregory Duran of Lubbock TX. Lucille is survived by her children Sylvia Sierra, David Jimenez, Teresa Jimenez, Betty Jimenez all of Lubbock TX and Monica Jimenez of Abilene TX. Sister Lily Euriste of Eden TX., Rosa Champion of Conroe TX., Cecilia Duran of San Diego CA., Rosenvelt and Ester Duran of Sweetwater, TX., Tommie Duran Rey of Atlanta, GA., Armando Duran of Lubbock, TX and Jerry Perez of Mesa, AZ., 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.

Rosary will be Thursday May 23, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel Funeral Mass will be Friday 10 a.m. at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com
