

Lubbock, Texas. He was born on May 3, 1943, in Carnegie Oklahoma to Calvin and Juanita Neal, who instilled in him the values of hard work, honesty, and dedication that guided him throughout his life.
From a young age, Lynn learned the meaning of responsibility and perseverance. At just 18 years old, he began farming—a profession that became not only his livelihood but his way of life. Lynn was a proud farmer who worked the land with determination and care for decades. Farming was never just a job to him; it was a calling that reflected his patience, strength, and deep respect for the earth. Those who knew Lynn understood that he was never afraid of hard work and believed strongly in earning everything he had.
Lynn shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rita Neal. Their marriage was built on love, commitment, and mutual respect, serving as an example to all who knew them. Together, they raised three children—Debbie, Tonya, Terry Neal (wife Traci). Lynn was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first and worked tirelessly to provide for them.
Lynn enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, jet skies and going to the lake. Anything that would put him in the middle of his family, kids and friends having fun.
He took great pride in being a grandfather to Scott Holbert (wife Brittany) and Shawn Holbert (wife Kristin). Becoming a great-grandfather brought him immense joy, and he cherished his time with Brianna, Brooke, Emmitt, and Ginny. His family was the center of his world, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them, sharing stories, and watching the next generations grow.
Lynn is survived by his two brothers, Ronnie Neal (wife Lou Ann) and Ricky Neal (wife Judy), brother-in-law Dell Knight and sister-in-law Virginia Terry as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Juanita Neal, Sister Cecilia Knight and his brother-in-law Weston Terry.
Those who knew Lynn will remember him as a steady presence—strong, dependable, and kind. He was a man of deep character, known for his integrity, loyalty, and unwavering work ethic. Lynn leaves behind a legacy of family, faith in hard work, and a life well lived.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will live on through the generations he helped shape.
