

Mack E. Padgett went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2015 at the age of 69.
Mack was born on November 18, 1945 in Vero Beach, Florida to the late Florence Ida (Teate) and Joseph James Padgett. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in October 1963, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and served at many military assignments in the U.S and overseas, until his retirement from active duty in March 1986. Mack was a Vietnam War Veteran and was very proud of his military service. After his retirement from the military Mack was employed for many years by the Frenship Independent School District.
Mack married Ronna Marie Roberts Padgett in 1965 and they had celebrated their Golden Anniversary this year. He was the proud father of Mack Jr., Angela, and Trudi. He was a strong Christian man, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was active in the Broadview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for years. After sustaining a life-changing injury during a hunting accident which left him wheelchair bound, his strong faith helped him through the difficult times. Mack enjoyed antique cars, traveling, boating, camping and fishing.
Mack is preceded in death by his brothers, Claude, Jack and Joseph; sisters Frances and Marie.
He is survived by his loving wife Ronna, of Lubbock; son, Mack Jr., and wife Sheila, of Wolfforth, TX; daughter, Angela and husband Ralph Cuevas, of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter, Trudi and husband Jeff Pittman, of Lakeside City, TX; grandchildren; Kobi Cuevas; Kelsey Cuevas; Ashlee Pittman; Holly Pittman; Jack Pittman; LaTasha Mendoza; Anthony Reagan; great-grandchildren, Jude Heineken; and Nicolai Mendoza; sister, JoeAnn Bowman; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many close friends he considered family.
