

A graduate of Minneola High School in Kansas, Marcus furthered his education at Lubbock Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He dedicated 27 years of his life to the Texas Tech Health Science Center, where his expertise shone. He married Becky on July 13, 1996, in Lubbock. He was a member of the Idalou Church of Christ.
Marcus leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky Wilson; children Ricky (Dana) Walters and Tia (Jim Bob) Clary; grandchildren, Kerbi Brinsfield, Dustin Cooper, Meagan (Brad) Gordon, Ashlyn (Chris) Raabe, Pierce Clary and fiancée, Savannah Hamilton, and Parker Clary; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kinsley, Noah, Ava, Brynlee and Walker who brought him immense joy and a sister, Kathy (Steve) Callahan.
Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, Norman J. Wilson and Ruby M. (Haynes) Wilson, and a sister, Mary Marshall.

Marcus’ life was marked by integrity, dedication, and love for his family and community. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
