Marie Williams, 87, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Marie was born on December 4, 1938, in Richland, Texas, to Troy Edgar McCurrin and Annie Gan McCurrin, both of whom preceded her in death.
Marie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for painting, crafts, and gardening, often creating beautiful works that brightened the lives of those around her. Above all, she cherished her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, LJ Williams; her son, Larry Williams and his wife, Linda; grandchildren Jennifer Erickson and husband Keith, and Lance Williams and wife, Julie; and great-grandchildren Ashlyn Erickson, Landon Erickson, Layne Williams, and Luke Williams. Sister Mary Glover and Brother Troy McCurrin II.
Marie will be remembered for her creative spirit, her loving heart, and the beautiful memories she created with her family.
