Lousie was born July 10, 1922 on a farm between Tulia and Happy, Tx to Mary and Emmett LaRoe. At the age of five she moved with her family to Tulia. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1940, and in 1941 married her high school sweetheart Milton Orr in Lubbock. They remained in Lubbock for the next thirty years. In 1977 they moved to Altus, Ok. And in 1980 to Killeen, Tx. Milton died in 1988 after 47 years of marriage. In 1990 Louise moved back to Lubbock and in 1999 married Cecil Griffin. He died in 2007.
Louise loved to play bridge and may other games. She also enjoyed quilting and knitting. She also loved church and was a member of the Church of Christ since she was 13 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Nell Rose Jennings, two Brothers, Travis and Geroge LaRoe. She is survived by two children, Galen Orr (Phyllis) of Cedar Park, Tx, and Marsha Jones (Winston} of Lubbock. Three grandchildren Kesha, Kevin (April) , Sean and five great grandchildren.
