Mary Lou Stubbs

Mary passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 of Alzheimer’s.

She was the President of Woman’s Auxiliary at Covenant Hospital from 2011-2013 and was also a volunteer at Highland Hospital and Covenant Hospital for many years. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Lubbock Paint Center and was a longtime member of Vandelia Church of Christ.

Mary was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Spencer Simon Stubbs, her parents Clark and Ethel Battey, her brothers George Battey and C.W. Battey, her sisters Lila Gray and Evalene Castleberry.

She is survived by her brothers Lewis Battey and Lee Battey and her sister Laverne Harrell and her children Debbie Brenner, Rick Stubbs and Harold Stubbs and 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
