Gerald Mike Reynolds, 69, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 21 at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX, Reverend Kaury Edwards will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
Mike was born on July 11, 1948 in Lubbock, Texas to Luther and Francis (Sales) Reynolds. He was a graduate of Monterey High School and a retired employee from Sodexo. He was an artistic individual who loved creating music, poetry, sculptures, furniture, and witty novelty buttons. To all who truly knew him, he was known as a trivia savant and a wise (sometimes sarcastic) sage.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Ashley Nicole Edwards and her husband, Kaury, of Owensboro, KY; his son, John Matthew Reynolds and his wife, Chelsea, of Wilson, TX; three grandsons, a brother, two nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Francis, and his sister Beth Johnson.
