

Nollye Nan Shropshire, 82, of Lubbock, Texas, passed on to Heaven on April 14, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born in Pampa, Texas, on May 15, 1943, to Woodrow and Nollye Rampy, and was raised in Lubbock.
Nan graduated from Monterey High School in 1961 and later attended Texas Tech University, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She married Johnny Shropshire on June 1, 1963, and together they built a beautiful life centered on family, faith, and community.
She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Lubbock and participated in the McMillian Sunday School class for many years. In recent years, she had been attending Wolfforth Methodist Church. Nan will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her loving presence, and the quiet strength she brought to her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, John and wife Cindy Shropshire, and Jeff and wife Kelly Shropshire; her sister, Susan Rampy Hovan; her grandchildren, Zach Shropshire, Bethany Sikes (Tyler), Alexandra Shropshire King (Alex), and Sam Shropshire; and one great-grandson, Collin Sikes.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Lubbock Meals on Wheels.
