Pablo Z Flores Sr.

Pablo married Maria Arismendez on August 25, 1962. Together, they built a strong and loving family, welcoming nine children. Over the years, Pablo worked at Country Framers, Coca-Cola, and Georgia Pacific. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and spending time at the senior citizen center. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family deeply.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Crescencio Flores and Jesusa Zambrano, his beloved wife, Maria, and brother Chris Flores.

Pablo’s legacy lives on through his surviving children: Diana Calderon (Paul Perez), Paul Flores (Mari Flores), Richard Flores, Ray Flores (Cathy Flores), Maribel Rodriguez, Ruben Flores (Ruthy Flores), Robert Flores (Michelle Flores), Elizabeth Fales, and Joe Saldana. He is also lovingly remembered by his 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing and rosary services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock on Monday at 4 p.m.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of the South Plains and The Plaza at Lubbock nursing facility for their compassionate care of Pablo.

Pablo will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the joy he brought to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
