Pamela Jo Owen

Pamela Jo Searsy Owen passed peacefully on October 21st, 2016. She was born in San Diego California March 16th, 1946 to Hubert E. Searsy and Nedra J. Seagler Searsy. Pam was married to Nobel Ray Owen 1965 and divorced in 1978. The marriage produced three children, Jeffery Todd Owen, b.9-12-1969, Barry Scott Owen, b. 4-4-1973, and Pamela Ray Owen, b 11-7-1977.

Pam graduated high school from Ropsville ISD in 1963 and then attend Lubbock Christian College. She received her Bachelor Of Science in Education from Stephen F. Austin.

Pam was an avid reader, history buff and educator. Her love for Elvis Presley and classic movies was well recognized by friends and family. She served as an English, History and Special Education teacher in several Texas cities, but most notable is her service in the Post, Texas ISD and the Ralls, Texas ISD.

Pam was preceded in death by her Father Hubert E. Searsy ( d. 1-30-2004) and her infant daughter Pamela Ray Owen ( d. 11-7-1977).

She is survived by her mother, brother Doyle Lynn Searsy, sister Kathy Elaine Searsy Pellette, and her sons.
