Patsy Idelle Anderson

Patsy was born December 1, 1939, in Petrolia Texas to Jack “Doc” and Marie Blevins. She had been a resident of Lubbock since coming to Texas Tech as a student in 1957. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and later received her Master of Science degree, and

Mid-Management Certification. She married Tommie E Anderson in 1959. Patsy taught Home Economics at Alderson Junior High for 2 years and CVAE Homemaking at O.L. Slaton Junior High for 23 years. She retired in 1994. Patsy loved to travel far and wide. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed reading and quilting. She was probably best known for her delicious meals and her famous sweet tea. Patsy was always the best host, and she loved cooking for friends and family! Her greatest loves were her grandchildren and new great grandson.

Patsy had 2 daughters, Kristy Anderson Godyn, who passed in 1986. Amy Anderson Carlile, married to Mark Carlile with 4 children. She had 4 grandchildren that she devoted her life to. Emily Kristyn Carlile Stafford, married to Kyle Stafford with 1 son, Maxwell, and is currently expecting a new baby in January. Bryce Kenneth Carlile. Mason Anderson Carlile, married to Linsie Cannon Carlile. Sarah Beth Carlile.

There will be a celebration of Life for Patsy at her house, 2302 Slide Road #47 on November 1st at 2:00. Parking will be on 24th Street as her community has VERY limited parking.
