He was born to Paul Lewis Jr. and Sue (Shipp) Whitton in Denton, TX on December 31, 1970. Trey graduated from Frenship High School and attended Texas Tech University. Trey worked in accounting and had a passion for sports.
He is survived by his children, Preslee Whitton and Paul (Quade) Whitton IV; his parents, Paul and Sue Whitton; his sister, Misty Laxson and her husband Marvin.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Trey’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at The First United Methodist Church in Wolfforth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First United Methodist Church in Wolfforth.
