The family of Pedro M. Rodriguez Jr. will celebrate his life of 75 years at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.   He took his last breath on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Rodriguez in Karnes City, TX. He married Juanita Cardona on November 2, 1970, in Del Rio, TX. Pedro’s greatest Love story started when he married the love of his life, Juanita Cardona. That love story was placed on pause on April 27, 2022, at 11:37 AM until they meet again.He was very proud of his children. He was even more proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he considered his greatest accomplishment in life.Pedro was independently employed for many years he owned and operated Pete’s Landscaping and Tree Trimming services, during that time he employed several family members who enjoyed working with him. He was a green thumb with a beautiful garden full of many different plants.Pedro/Uncle Pete and friend to so many will most be remembered for his barbequing and big family breakfasts (in his words “We may not be rich, but we sure do eat good”) his outgoing spirit and personality always made him the life of the party.Pedro never met a stranger he didn’t like. He leaves behind many broken hearts today. We will miss him dearly. The empty chair we will see on holidays and birthdays is only that, an empty chair. His spirit lives with us.  We carry so many wonderful memories in our hearts that can never be taken away.Psalm 56:8 tells us, God would collect every one of our tears. The ones we blink back. The ones we cry silently. The ones that soak our pillow in the middle of the night. Not a single tear escapes his notice. Each one was precious to him because we are precious to him.Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Juanita Rodriguez; their children, Amanda (Rick) Lucio, Amy (Bobby) Herrera, Eduardo (Alisha Cornish) Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez III, and Patricia Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers and 6 sisters.He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Rodriguez; mother, Jesusa M. Rodriguez; son, Edward Rodriguez; daughter, Alexandria Rodriguez; and stepmother, Eulalia "LaLa" Rodriguez.
