Peggy Jean Parrish, 74, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born November 20, 1937 in Lubbock to Chester and Gladys Britt. Peggy was a lifetime resident of Lubbock who lived to care for and enjoy her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, and painting art.
Peggy is survived by 3 daughters, Barbara Bratcher and husband W.C., Tina Mims and husband Stephen, and Mitzi Witt and husband Keith; 3 sons, Nicky Parrish and wife Kathy, Robby Parrish and wife Michelle, and Tracy Parrish and wife Paula; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby, grandson Dane and 9 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 21st from 3 to 5 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, October 22nd at 2 pm in Resthaven Memorial Park.
