Loving Mother. Loyal Friend
December 13, 1937 – February 22, 2024
Phyllis Guerry Wagoner, a beacon of love, laughter and wisdom, was called to Heaven, leaving behind a legacy woven with joy, care, and an indomitable spirit. From Sundown, Texas, Phyllis's life was a tapestry rich with the colors of devotion, adventure, and culinary excellence.
Survived by her sons, Chris (Simmie), Guerry, and Cody (Carl Arthur); her adored grandchildren, Brett, Grant, and Jack; her faithful companion, Rio; her sister, Sue Livingston (Randy); four nieces, one nephew, and a community of friends, Phyllis's absence leaves a void in the hearts of many. Preceded in death by her parents, Burt Alvin and Christine Guerry; her sister, Gayla Lewis; and niece, Revis Reibeling, Phyllis now joins her beloved family in eternal rest.
Phyllis's life was marked by her success as a real estate and travel agent, passions that allowed her to explore the world and enrich her life with diverse experiences. Her gourmet cooking and joyous gatherings remain cherished memories for all who were fortunate to partake. Above all, Phyllis's unwavering love for her family and friends, and her ability to infuse joy and wisdom into the lives of those around her, stand as a testament to a life beautifully lived.
A graveside committal service for Phyllis will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
