R. B. was born January 1, 1922 in Fluvanna TX to R.B. and Naudia Wills. He graduated from Fluvanna High School in 1939 and served in the US Air Force during WWII from 1942 to 1946. He was stationed at Lubbock Army Air Field then was sent to Scott Field, Illinois. He married Henrietta Haynes November 3, 1946 in Lubbock. R.B. worked for Price Supply Company as office manager for 29 years before retiring. He was a 51 year member of Hub Lions Club.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, Martha Baker of Lubbock Wiley Miller and wife Karen of Odessa, TX, Sandra Wilson of Burleson, TX, Patti Boman of Houston, TX, Riley, Rex and Terry all of Houston. He was preceded in death by his wife Henrietta.
