Richard Clason, died peacefully after a short battle with cancer while surrounded by loved ones. His presence was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Clason, a beloved member of our community. While words cannot fully capture the impact one life can have, we gather here to honor and remember a person whose kindness, dedication, and love touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Richard grew up in a military family, which instilled in him a powerful sense of duty, discipline, and resilience from an early age. The values and experiences he gained during his formative years shaped his character and guided him throughout his life.
Richard was a devoted son, sibling, and later a loving husband, father, and grandfather, always prioritizing those he cared for most.
His career included distinguished service in the United States Air Force, from which he retired, exemplifying the values of honor and commitment throughout his years of service.
Throughout his career, Richard displayed remarkable dedication, integrity, and passion. He earned the respect of his peers and colleagues through his hard work and unwavering commitment. His achievements earned him lasting recognition and made a significant impact on his area of expertise. Richard approached challenges with optimism and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Richard Clason's memory will be cherished by all who knew him—his family, friends, and anyone whose life he influenced. We honor his life, celebrate his accomplishments, and hold close to the lessons he imparted through his kindness and service. May he rest in peace, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
Richard is survived by his wife Brenda, children Wendy and Ursula, and grandsons Silas and Daegan. And, by his siblings—Allen, Linda, Darla, Jerry, Fred, and Tammy—and many other relatives who will honor his memory.
Richards Clason’s life serves as a reminder to treasure each moment, to offer kindness freely, and to support one another. Although he is gone, his memory will endure through the stories people share, the wisdom passed on, and the love inspired by his life.

Celebration of Richard Clason’s Life, where family and friends are welcome to share their memories will be at First Church of the Nazarene 6110 Chicago Ave Lubbock, TX 79424 at 12:00pm.
