Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Shallowater. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Ronnie was born on August 8, 1946, to W.F. “Dunk” and Dardenella (Jones) Williamson in Amherst, Texas. He was business manager at Dial Financial for several years and also worked as assistant engineer for the City of Lubbock. He enjoyed putting together model cars and loved watching Nascar.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Glenda Moore; and a brother, Jimmie Dale Williamson.
Those left to cherish Ronnie’s memories include his mother, Dardie Williamson of Lubbock; nephew, Tim Moore and his wife Sherry of Round Rock; and a niece, Kristi Moore of Lubbock.
