Ronny Paul Lowe (Ron), age 80, passed away peacefully with his beloved daughters, Veronica and Victoria, by his side, on July 1, 2022. Ron was a lifetime resident of Lubbock, graduated from Lubbock High School in 1959, and attended Texas Tech University.
Ron’s family moved to Lubbock after his grandfather, H L Lowe, homesteaded in Hobbs and Tatum, New Mexico during the early nineteen hundreds. At that time, H L Lowe began the Lowe Land Company in 1940, specializing in oil, cattle, and land acquisitions. Ron worked with his family at the Lowe Land Company but went on to become a successful residential building and remodeling contractor and creator of one-of-a-kind wood furniture and accessory pieces.
His love for woodworking was evident in his creative ability to turn hand-picked wood and jewelry into extraordinary pieces of art. The only thing that surpassed his love of woodworking was his deep, abiding, never-ending love for his children. Veronica and Victoria. They were his purpose, his pride, and his everlasting joy.
He is survived by his daughters, Veronica Rachel Lowe, Dr. Victoria Hunter Lowe, his sisters, Kay Lowe Atcheson and Vivian Anselmi, and his grandchildren Jay Jayvonni Jackson Esquivel, Teagan Payge Lowe, and Parker Ross Lowe. Preceding him in death were his parents, Coy S Lowe, and Marje Jean Clarke .
