Rosalinda Cortes Lara

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Joe Lara; parents Juan and Minerva Cortes; and brothers, Felix Cortes and Angel Cortes.

She is survived by brother, Rolando Cortes of Piedras Negras; son, J.J. Lara and wife Lucy; daughter, Lisa Vanessa; and grandchildren, Vanessa Mariah and Joseph all of Lubbock.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Elizabeth University Parish, Rev. Emiliano Zapata, O.P. officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
