Rosella "Rose" Mae Gray

Rosella (Rose) Mae Gray was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, Chicago and Loop 289, with the Rev. Michael Page officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

She was born in Lander, Wyoming on June 9, 1926 to Lester and Lila Young. Faith played a large role in Rose’s life. She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene for many years. Paul and Rose received the “Distinguished Service” award from their church for their dedication and hard work through the years. Rose was a dedicated, loving mother, and homemaker.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul of 66 years, and her brother Gilbert Young.

She is survived by 4 children. Three daughters Sharon Gray, Norma Meador, and Linda Hulsey; one son John Gray; and one son-in-law Harry Hulsey all of Lubbock. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
