Ms Sandra Sandy Lee Massoth Shipton

Sandy was born July 31,1954, in Hammond, Indiana to Thomas J. and Rita V. Massoth. Living in Illinois for many years, she moved to Lubbock, Texas with her family in 1983. Sandy was the mother of Tamithy Jo and Marc Edward Jr..

Throughout her working career, she was a waitress and a caregiver to many. Sandy had a sparkling personality and never knew a stranger. Sandy’s hobbies included crochet, fishing, camping and loved nature and all its special blessings.

Born the youngest daughter, Sandy is survived by her mother Rita, brothers Tom Massoth of Willits, CA., Ted Massoth of Pekin Il., sisters Katherine A. (Robert) Goodin of Marquette Heights, Il., Susan Pollman of Pekin, Il. and Sheri (Eric) Robinson of Pekin, Il.. Sandy leaves behind her daughter Tami (Ted) Pisarski of Lubbock, grandsons Marcus Shipton and Theodore Pisarski, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sandra had a deep love for her children and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Sandy passed from this life, and is eternally resting with her beloved son, Marc Jr..

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Monday, April 23, 2012 from 6:00 pm –9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 am, with final resting at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, Texas.
