Shannon was born on January 1, 1992 in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Monterey High School, where he was a standout football player. He absolutely had a LOVE of sports. His favorite football team was the New Orleans Saints and his favorite basketball team was the NY Knicks. He loved watching sports, playing sports, family time with his siblings and cousins. He is loved by so many. Shannon is survived by his parents, Rhonda Langs; Elmer Young; and Tom and Kim Rusk, his sisters, Amanda Robinson and husband, Yogi; Laquilla Langs, Victoria Rusk; brothers Deandre Langs, Tommy Rusk and wife, Tanika; Craig Langs and Andy Rusk.Shannon was preceded in death by his beloved grandma Gloria Langs. Shannon Marquis Young, 25, passed away on February 24, 2017, at his home in Lubbock, Texas.
