Tommie Faye Hogan, 76, passed away Wednesday November 13, 2013 in Olney TX. She was born October 25, 1937 in Slaton, TX to Wesley and Dola Rae Phillips. Tommie married Donald Ray Hogan June 8, 1956 in Lubbock. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband at Don Hogan Motor Sales for over 30years. Tommie was an avid bowler and was member of Lubbock Bowling Leagues for over 20 years. She was active in a church all her life and a longtime member of Church of the Harvest in Lubbock.
Tommie is survived by her husband Don, of Lubbock; children, Renee Smith and her husband Terry of Amarillo, Karen Young and her husband Jay of Lubbock, Jan Davis and husband Chad of Olney and Mike Hogan and wife Tawnya of Wimberley, TX; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Bonnie Haymes and Mary Fisher.
Visitation will be held Sunday November 17, 2013 from 3 to 5 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday November 18th at 1 pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
