Travis Parks

Travis was vibrant and full of life with a beautiful smile. He was a great friend, son, and loved one. His loss is felt by many.

Travis was a talented trim manager and valued employee at Integrity Building Components in Wolfforth. He loved his job. He enjoyed his social gatherings, making his specialty jalapeno poppers and holding court with entertaining stories. His gift of mimicry was hilarious.

Travis lost his beloved father at age two and was raised by his strong, loving mother.

He had a good heart, a kind, loving spirit and a deep love for animals, especially his black lab, Mr. Gideon. He attended Whiteside, Irons and graduated Cooper ISD in 2001. Travis attended Austin Community College.

Aside from many, many friends, Travis is survived by mother Eileen Parks Bonds; loving companion Lisa Bishop; grandparents Herbert and Ailene Hinckley and Betty Parks; aunts, Patti Houston, Holly Hinckley-Wilkinson and Jill Hinckley; uncles, Ric Parks and Daniel Hinckley, cousins, Derral and Darran Partin, Tamaryn Parks, Nathan Freeman, Adam Freeman and Rebecca Freeman, Jessica May and David Hinckley.

He was preceded in death by his father, and cousin Karli Parks.

Travis we love you so much. So, so much.

Visitation will be held at 9 am followed by the Celebration of Life Services at 10 am, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Dr. Shera Atkinson officiating.
