Tricia was born on September 1, 1954, in Hamlin, Texas, to Gayle and Janice Bowen. She graduated from Monterey High School and continued her education at Texas Tech University and Stephen F. She had a joyful spirit and a love for life. Tricia enjoyed twirling, bowling, softball, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her proudest role in life was being a mother to her three children.
A woman of deep faith, Tricia was a long-time member of Highland Baptist Church in Lubbock, where she served faithfully over the years as pianist, organist, children’s choir director, and briefly as church secretary.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gayle Bowen.
