She attended American Commercial Collage and worked at McElhaney Dairy where she met John W. Deering. They married on December 25, 1945. John predeceased her on October 27, 2005. John and Louise owned Deering Chevrolet in O’Donnell, TX.
Louise is also preceded in death by her son, Don W Deering, and by her son, Gregory A. Deering, her parents, siblings Horace Fisher, James Harvey Fisher, and Bobby Nell Bryant.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Fisher Gray of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a son, Timothy Neil Deering of Lubbock, Texas, a sister, Gayla Hohn of O’Donnell, Texas, and a sister, Dorothy Moore of Colorado, 10 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and friends.
