She married the love of her life Billy J Stuart, on August 23, 1958. They met while working as butchers for Furr’s Supermarkets. She retired from Furr’s Cafeterias after 25 years of service.
She deeply loved her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and great granddaughters. She was a diehard Texas Tech sports fan. She was a true Dallas Cowboy fan, especially Roger and Troy.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Billy J Stuart, Grandson Stuart Ringler, Parents Jeff and Hazel Davis, Sisters Lula Williamson and Joe Ann Vick, and Brother Don Davis.
She is survived by her sister Hazel (Susie) Wade, daughter Karen Smith, and daughter Sharon and husband John Ringler, grandchildren Jeff Carter, Heather and husband Casey Thompson, Samantha Biffle and husband David Carlsen-Landy. Great Granddaughters Adalyn and Kenslee Thompson and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Friday, February 14, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10am with graveside service to follow.
