Dianne enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her family and working on jigsaw puzzles—but she also embraced hard work. She took great pride in maintaining her farm, milking cows, raising calves, and tending her gardens and flowerbeds.
From an early age, Dianne had a gift for friendship. A true social butterfly, she knew and loved everyone she met. She had a remarkable way of remembering birthdays and anniversaries, always making those around her feel special. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Stone, and sisters, Omelia Merritt and Eddie Ruth Calvert.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, A.J. Danner; sons, Pete Danner (Heidi), Adam Danner, and Ronald Danner (Debbie); daughter, Patricia Occhiogrosso; and her many cherished grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at White Funeral Home of Lumberton, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins. Reverend Jesse Lander will officiate, and burial will follow at Bounds Cemetery in Carnes.
Dianne’s life was a testament to love, generosity, and joy, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
