

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 26, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Lumberton for Mr. Buster B. Crider, 82, of Lumberton, Mississippi who died Saturday July 23, 2011 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Dr. Tommy King and Reverend John Sapp will officiate at the service Burial will follow in the Lumberton City Cemetery.
A native of Centreville, Alabama he was born Wednesday November 7, 1928 to Herman and Zora Middlebrooks Crider. A honored United States Navy Veteran; he was a retired businessman. He served as a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Lumberton for over 50 years. A member of the Mississippi Lions Club and had served as the International Director from 1990 until 1992; was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1994.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jane McClellan Crider; brother, Herman Crider, Jr.; two sons, Edward Brent Crider and Darren Lee Crider.
Survivors include two sons, David Kent (fiancee, Wanda) Crider and Kendell Lee (Simone) Crider; one sister, Alice C. Lightsey; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday July 25, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Lumberton; and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
