Florence Elizabeth Reid Bullock

Florence was born April 17, 1936, in Lamar County, Mississippi. At the age of 14, she married Robert Bullock and together they created a loving home. She was a devoted homemaker her entire adult life.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter #67, Wiggins, MS.

In her golden years, Florence enjoyed outings with her beloved Robert, whom she affectionately called "Daddy”. Fiercely devoted to her family, she enjoyed gospel music, sewing and quilting, gardening, and the Western Channel - 24/7!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Druzell Herrin Reid; stepmother, Ethel Bond Reid; brothers, John Reid, Arnie Reid, Lonnie Reid, Rayford Reid, and Bobby Reid; one sister, Patsy JoAnn Bracewell; an infant son and one grandchild.

Florence is survived by one son, Robert E. Bullock, Jr. of Biloxi, MS; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Liz) LeCount of Lumberton, Carolyn Sue Bullock of Picayune, MS and Brenda Lee Bullock of Cartersville, GA; brothers, Edmond Bond, Henry Earl Bond, Billy Ed Reid, Carl Reid, Roger Dale Reid; seven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and loving friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at White Funeral Home (102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS, 39455) from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 10:00 am. Brother Jesse Ladner will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery, Purvis.

Pallbearers will be John P. Wilson, II, Matthew Ryan Willey, Robert E. Bullock, III, Billy E. Reid, Jr., Wayne Reid, and Larry Michael Reid. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas James Odom, Daniel Ray Bullock, and James C. Horne.
