James Clinton "Go Go" Smith

Go Go was born March 24, 1961 in Columbia,Mississippi to George Thomas and Bonnie Jean Beach Smith. He was a floor hand with C.C. Forbes Oilfield Services. He was a member of the Holiness Faith. He was a very active person who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and above all, spending time with his family. Go Go will be best remembered as someone who would give you the shirt off of his back.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Iona Ovett Smith.

Family members include his wife, Debbie Owen Smith; four children, Randall Smith, Carlton McCardle, Carla (Paul) Games, Carol (Warren Dillon) Gales; three sisters, Peggy (Carl) Busha, Nina Saucier, Cynthia (Tim) Sellers; four brothers, Thomas Smith, Jackie (Liz) Smith, Daniel Smith, Bobby (Melissa) Bolin; grandchildren, Randy , Bridget, Preston, Meg, Ariel, Joshua, Payton, Preston Clifton, Danny, Gracie, Mallerie, Natallie, and Averie.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS, 39455 on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Brother Gary Lyons will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
