Patricia Mixon Matherne

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Andre Thornton will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Advance Cemetery, Sumrall. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs.Matherne was born April 29, 1939 in Sumrall, Mississippi to Clarence Daniel Mixon and Martha (nee' Hudson) Mixon. She was a retired medical secretary.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Matherne; and one brother, Clarence Mixon, Jr.

Family members include daughters, Darlene Floyd (Michael), Cindy Lizana (Herman); two brothers, James Mixon (Pearl), Larry Mixon; three sisters, Alice Creel, Kathy Bennett (George), Valeda Tagert; four grandchildren, Dane Floyd (Brittni), Lauren Lizana, Tre' Lizana, Cody Floyd; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
