Mr. Simon was born August 3, 1947 in Reserve, Louisiana to Lucien Joseph Simon and Josephine Benoit Simon. A retired plumber, Mr. Simon enjoyed Saints Football and the outdoors, especially fishing. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He was Catholic by faith.
His parents precede him death.
Family members include his wife of 39 years, Grace Bivalacqua Simon; four children, Dawn Buras, Kim Lester, Gloria Gilham, Kimberly Allen; six grandchildren, Courtney, Gabrielle, Noah, Chasity, Hannah, Elin; numerous brothers, sisters, and extended family.
Memorial services will be at First Baptist Church, Lumberton, 103 E Hinton Avenue, Lumberton, MS, 39455 on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
