Elaine Bergeron Bergeron Lane

Elaine Bergeron Lane, 85 of Tyler, Texas passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born October 7, 1927 in Union, LA to the late Jeanne Letulle and Henry Bergeron. A devoted Catholic, she worked as a registered nurse until she cared for her special needs son Bobby. Elaine loved crafts but mostly loved her church and family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Convent. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Convent with Fr. Ed Fuss celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her loving family including her children, Patricia L. Kinnaird and husband Leonard, Celeste M. Lane, all of Tyler, and Charles Emory Lane, III and wife LaJuan of Nacogdoches; sister Helen B. Boudreaux of Convent; grandchildren Brian J. Bridgewater, Jr., Jamie Bridgewater, Jennifer Ruth Lane and Charles Emory Lane, IV and great-grandchildren Blake W. Bridgewater, Katherine A. Bridgewater and Sophie E. Holt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Emory Lane, Jr., son Robert “Bobby” Burris Lane, sister June Magnitzky, brother Henry Bergeron, Jr., and half-sister Lucille Chauvin.

Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher.
