

Winsley “Kolac” Joseph St. Pierre, Jr., age 64, died in an automobile accident on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Native of Grand Point, Louisiana and a resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana for the past 8 years. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Sanchez St. Pierre; sons, Cody St. Pierre (Amber) and Darin St. Pierre (Jennifer). Son of Grace Louque St. Pierre, brother of Ronald (Judy), Barry, Reed (Brenda) St. Pierre; sisters, Drema Cambre (Lyle) and Penny St. Pierre Elfer; five grandchildren, Lea, Olivia, Myla, Colton and Caleb St. Pierre. Godchild, Chad St. Pierre and step-sons, Donnie and Michael, brother-in-law; Rudy and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Winsley Joseph St. Pierre, Sr., maternal grandparents Clarence and Nelta Louque and Paternal grandparents, Athanas and Rita St. Pierre.
Winsley served his country in the United States Army and worked with his family on the farm raising sugar cane, bell peppers and tobacco. Later, he started his own business as a welder. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing/boiling crawfish, carpenter, Bar-B-Ques on Sundays with family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, LA on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, LA., following the Mass. H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Hwy., Lutcher, LA.
