Anita Anne Dodd Garrett

Anita Anne Dodd Garrett, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sandy A. Garrett, Jr. and two brothers, Buddy and Jerry Dodd.

Born in Farmville she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. Dodd and Vera T. Dodd.

She is survived by her children, Larry B. Dixon (Nancy) of Charlotte C.H., Tami K. Garrett of Lynchburg, Mark T. Garrett (Debra) of Forest; two siblings, Franklin Dodd of Phenix and Kay Hamlett of Charlotte C.H.; sister-in-law Nora Dodd of Randolph; brother-in-law, Horace Garrett of Lynchburg; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Oak View Presbyterian Cemetery in Charlotte C.H. Anita will be available for viewing from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
