Barbara Reynolds Preas

Born April 24, 1937 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late William Cleveland and Mary McCormick Reynolds and was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph J. Preas, Jr.; four brothers and eight sisters. She was retired from Mrs. Giles Salad Kitchen.

Mrs. Preas is survived by three daughters, Robin Brooks and husband, Ronnie, Wanda Jamerson and husband, Dennis, and Brenda LeSueur, all of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren, Crystal Brooks, Kori Brooks, Danita Williams, Bo Jamerson and wife, Mandy, Laura Jamerson, Jeremy Jamerson, Jamie Jamerson, and Hannah LeSueur; six great-grandchildren, Joshawa Burford, Jaycob Hicks, Nicholas Williams, Kiya Jamerson, Kaylee Jamerson, and Brooklyn Jamerson, and her little dog, Cookie.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2011 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor J. Mike Dodson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the funeral home and other times at the residence, 2756 Greenhill Lane, Lynchburg, 24503.
