Beatrice "Bea" Tinnell Hudson

Bea was born on June 24, 1934 in Campbell County, daughter of the late Thornton and Florine Tinnell.

In addition to her husband Ray, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Hudson; two sisters, Anna Smith and Mildred Burnette; one brother, Thornton Tinnell and a grandson, Erik Hudson.

Bea was a member of Tree of Life Ministries and had served as head greeter for almost twenty years. She was retired from General Electric and enjoyed dancing and music. Her love of music extended to her playing the organ.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Hudson and wife Leesa and Benny Hudson and wife Laura; three daughters, Linda Refling and husband Jack, Carol Layne and husband Earl, and Karen Perez and husband Michael; two sisters, Imelda Chancey and Delores Simmons and husband Randy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 31, 2018 at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Thursday night at the church.
