Calvin Lewis Edwards

Calvin Lewis Edwards, Sr. – a much loved husband, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and veteran. Calvin, 76, of Evington passed away peacefully at his home with family around him. He bravely confronted and fought cancer. Calvin was born May 7, 1942, in Lynchburg, and had the honor of serving in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge and Ruby Edwards of Madison Heights; brother, Robert Edwards; sister, Jeanette Stokes; and sister, Judy Wade. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sarah Edwards of Evington; son Calvin Edward, Jr. (Sandra) of Virginia Beach; son, Larry Edwards of Evington; daughter, Joyce Seamster (William) of Amherst; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
