
He was born on December 13, 1947 in Lynchburg and was the son of the late Charles O. Casey and Virginia C. Casey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Mark Burnett.
Charles proudly served in the United States Navy for four years and after his service was completed, he obtained his optician license and worked as an optician for over 15 years before retiring. He enjoyed bowling, target shooting and (quite often) loved to enjoy a cold Diet Coke.
Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia S. Casey; son, Charles C. Casey; stepdaughters Lisa Childress and her husband Bennie, Stephanie Cannon and her husband Joe; stepsons Tony Burnett and Perry Burnett; sister Diane Wilson; grandchildren Samena Falwell and her husband David, Brian Smith, Catie Crank, Lindsey Watts and her husband Ryker, Jessica Cannon, Joey Cannon and ten great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
