Charles Stephen Evans, 75, of Evington, passed away, Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Guggenheimer Nursing Home. Born August 18, 1938, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Macon Evans and the late Helen Perry Evans Harris.
Charles was a retired maintenance engineer for the City of Lynchburg with 30 years of service. He was also a long time member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Charles is survived by his loving church family at Thomas Road Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. David Heerspink officiating.
