It is almost 10 days now- it is still hard to grasp and the thought of going into the office is something I really dont want to do- I miss you Cheryl- I miss talking to you, I miss your "impish "smile, your twinkle in your eyes and the hug of all hugs- rest in peace friend--

 To all of Cheryl's family I am so sorry for your loss and all of us who were blessed to have known her. I worked with her at Home Health in Bedford. She was such a kind compassionate person. Over the years I saw her a few times in a store somewhere and it would make my heart smile to see her. I know she had her own share of physical problems over the years but any time I saw her she had a big smile. She was one of those people I describe as an angel on earth so I know the angels are singing to have her home.

With deepest sympathy to the family during your time of  sorrow.  Psalms 46:1 says: God is for us a refuge and strength during this difficult time and may God  grant you the comfort to endure.

Dear Greg, I feel sure you know what a treasure you married and how much Cheryl loved you. I have known Cheryl since Nursing School and I have worked with her on and off for years. She was truly a special nurse and that came from a heart of gold. My comfort comes from knowing that she also loved the Lord and that showed that love each and every day in her smile and the love that she gave to all she came in contact with. I pray your comfort comes from knowing that you will be together again and that she is waiting for you at the feet of Jesus. May God give you and all of her family His peace and comfort during this time. Please know that many prayers are going up for you by those many people who were touched by God's love coming from the heart of Cheryl Ann Staples.  Rest in Peace  angel of God until we meet again.

I worked with Cheryl when she was in nursing school and she would work on the floor with us. She was a sweet person and we all thought alot of her. So sorry for your loss.

Cheryle was one of the sweetest souls that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  She was such a blessing to so many people in the community and will be sorely missed.  My prayers go out to her family and friends.

Greg, I too worked with Cheryl as my supervisor at Gentiva. She made me feel so welcome and was a wonderful co-worker. I still can't believe she is gone. God's blessings on you, as you walk through this tough time.

I worked with Cheryl at Home Instead Senior Care.  She was such an inspiration to me and many others.  She would do anything for you that she could and she will be greatly missed.  She taught me what being a nurse is truly about.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I was a fellow nurse friend of hers from Lynchburg General Hospital....in fact it was Cheryl that convinced me to try teaching at LGH and have been doing so ever since. Words can not express the loss & sorrow we feel upon learning about Cheryl's passing.  We are sure it is nothing compared to what you are experiencing & she made it known you were her world & her rock. Cheryl always had a smile and could make you laugh, no matter what was going on. She & I were partners in crime in LGH School of Nursing, of which we are blessed to recall. Later we worked parallel roles with patients & talked frequently. Nursing & her patients were her life's passion & it was obvious she was a blessing to them and everyone she encountered. This is a great & tragic loss for Lynchburg and everyone who met her especially you. May God hold you in his arms and send His angels to comfort you, knowing Cheryl is with Him, healthly & laughing.

Thoughts and Prayers for the family. I met Cheryl a few years back when my mom was under the care of the place she worked. She was a really nice person. I would still see her out and we would talk. Sorry for your loss.

Cheryl was in charge of nursing at HomeInstead.  Cheryl convinced me to return to work after many years because she had faith in my abilities.  I have never met such a loving,kind,compassionate and loyal person and I feel privledged to have had her also as a friend, my calendar said we had an appt this am at 9-in honor of her, I closed my eyes and prayed to God to keep her in his loving arms.
