Born on November 9, 1986 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Stephen and Deborah Nicotera. He was preceded in death by a brother, Séan Nicotera and grandfather, John Buckley.
Corey had an unwavering passion for sports, with football, basketball, and baseball holding a special place in his heart. As a true New Englander, he was a devoted fan of the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, and the Bruins, cheering them on through every victory and defeat.
Corey was an avid golfer, and had a core group of friends that he enjoyed playing with. Almost every Sunday, he could be found on the golf course, enjoying the game he loved so dearly.
However, Corey's greatest joy came from being a dedicated father to his children. He found immense fulfillment in actively participating in their lives, whether it was involvement in their softball and basketball teams or engaging in spirited games of Uno or Trouble. Corey never missed an opportunity to brag about his kids, his pride and love for them evident to all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving partner of 17 years, Holly Pinigis; his children, Ava Nicotera, Bradee Nicotera, and Easton Nicotera; his beloved dog Lola; grandparents, Phyllis Buckley and Joan Mccarthy; his brother Stephen Nicotera; and many uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be conducted on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Rick Rasberry at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
